Happy New Year

A Year in Review

2019 was a productive year of creating. It was my first year of working on my artwork full time and I feel lucky to have been in my studio on a daily basis. I made a total of 95 relief prints. At the start of the year, I was also making a doodle-a-day (I called it ‘Doodle-du-Jour’), and participated in The ‘100 Day Project’ along with thousands of other people around the world who made and posted a daily image. I made my final, doodle, number 281 on August 16 after determining that I was spending too much time on these and not enough on my prints.

I am now showing my work at Cello in Bozeman, Montana, and b. Hive Artisan Co-op in Livingston, Montana. In May, I was featured in the online MSAA national magazine, and in July I was at the Artwalk at Cosmica on Main Street in Bozeman. I sold work at a number of Gallatin Farmer’s Markets in the summer, and I had a print chosen for the annual Woman Artist’s Datebook published by The Syracuse Cultural Workers.

At the end of the year, I was in three art fairs, starting with the MADE fair in late October, then the Bozeman SLAM and a holiday market at the UUFB.

I’m looking forward to teaching some classes and getting ready for an upcoming show at The Wild Crumb in Bozeman in February. Stay tuned for upcoming events and I plan to post more regularly.
